Texas Speed Stage 4 Cathedral NA Camshaft
232/247 .644"/.632" | 111 LSA | 108 ICL
Overview
The Texas Speed Stage 4 Cathedral NA Camshaft is the flagship naturally aspirated camshaft in our Cathedral NA lineup. Designed for aggressive street, street/strip, and race-oriented builds, it delivers the strongest top-end power and most aggressive idle of the four camshafts while rewarding combinations with the airflow and supporting components to take advantage of its high-RPM powerband.
Featuring 232/247 duration, .644"/.632" lift, a 111 LSA, and 108 ICL, the Stage 4 is ideal for naturally aspirated 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, and 6.0L cathedral-port LS engines looking to maximize horsepower.
On our 6.0L LS dyno engine, the Stage 4 produced 509 peak horsepower while gaining 98 horsepower and 28 lb-ft of torque over the stock LS6 camshaft. It also delivered the highest average horsepower and torque of the entire Cathedral NA lineup.
Developed In-House by Texas Speed
Texas Speed camshafts are developed using our internal lobe-design process, allowing our engineering team to match the valve events and lobe profiles to the intended engine displacement, cylinder-head airflow, operating range, and performance goals.
Camshaft and valvetrain behavior is evaluated through Spintron testing to help verify stability and valve control throughout the intended RPM range. This in-house development process allows Texas Speed to create purpose-built camshafts instead of relying on generic lobe combinations.

Fitment & Important Notes
- Fits Gen III and Gen IV cathedral-port 4.8L, 5.3L, 5.7L, and 6.0L LS engines.
- Designed for naturally aspirated applications.
- Upgraded valve springs are required.
- Hardened chromoly pushrods are recommended.
- Professional ECU tuning is required.
- A 3,200 RPM or higher torque converter is recommended.
- Pushrod length and piston-to-valve clearance should always be verified during installation.
Dyno testing was performed on a 6.0L LS engine against a stock LS6 camshaft. Results will vary based on the complete engine combination, supporting modifications, fuel, testing conditions, and calibration.
