TSP Torquer v4 Camshaft
TEXAS SPEED & PERFORMANCE
Texas Speed Torquer V4 231/234 Cathedral Port LS Camshaft
The Texas Speed Torquer V4 231/234 camshaft is an aggressive naturally aspirated performance cam designed for cathedral-port LS engines, including LS1, LS2, and LS6 applications. Its 231/234 duration, .629"/.615" lift, and tight 111 LSA deliver a pronounced idle, strong midrange power, and excellent top-end performance.
This cam features an aggressive intake lobe designed to produce strong peak horsepower while bringing power in early enough for a responsive street and strip combination. With the proper supporting modifications, the Torquer V4 is capable of producing approximately 55-60 rear-wheel horsepower.

Fitment & Important Notes
- TSP/PAC .660" dual valve springs are required due to the camshaft's aggressive intake lobe and .629" intake lift.
- A 3200 RPM or higher stall converter is recommended for automatic-transmission applications.
- A minimum 3.23 rear gear is recommended, with a 3.42 or higher ratio preferred for maximum performance.
- Custom tuning is required for both automatic and manual-transmission vehicles.
- This camshaft can fit factory, unmodified cylinder heads; however, piston-to-valve clearance must still be checked during installation.
- Manual-transmission vehicles may experience some low-RPM bucking or surging but can remain streetable with proper tuning.
- Always verify piston-to-valve clearance, valve spring compatibility, installed height, coil-bind clearance, retainer-to-seal clearance, and valvetrain geometry during installation.
