TSP Tsunami Camshaft
TEXAS SPEED & PERFORMANCE
Texas Speed Tsunami 235/240 Cathedral Port LS Camshaft
The Texas Speed Tsunami 235/240 camshaft is a max-effort naturally aspirated cam designed for aggressive cathedral-port LS combinations. Its 235/240 duration, .629"/.615" lift, and tight 111 LSA deliver a hard-hitting idle, strong midrange acceleration, and excellent peak horsepower for serious street and strip builds.
Aggressive lobe profiles help bring power in early while continuing to pull through the upper RPM range. With the proper compression, cylinder heads, supporting airflow modifications, and custom tuning, the Tsunami is capable of producing an estimated 70 or more rear-wheel horsepower.

Fitment & Important Notes
- TSP/PAC .660" dual valve springs are required. A polished PAC dual-spring kit with lightweight retainers is recommended for proper control of the aggressive lobe profiles.
- A 3600 RPM or higher stall converter is recommended for automatic-transmission applications.
- A 3.42 or higher rear gear is recommended to take full advantage of the camshaft's powerband.
- Custom tuning is required for both automatic and manual-transmission vehicles.
- This is not the preferred choice for a typical daily driver. It is best suited for weekend, performance-street, and street/strip combinations.
- This camshaft is designed to offer favorable piston-to-valve clearance for its size and can fit factory, unmodified cylinder heads; however, clearance must still be measured during installation.
- Always verify piston-to-valve clearance, valve spring compatibility, installed height, coil-bind clearance, retainer-to-seal clearance, and valvetrain geometry during installation.
