Whipple 2011-2026 Mustang Alternator Relocation Kit

The Whipple 2011-2026 Mustang Alternator Relocation Kit is engineered for high-horsepower Coyote builds utilizing an ATI harmonic balancer and a Whipple supercharger system. By relocating the alternator, this kit significantly shortens the supercharger belt path while eliminating alternator bracket flex commonly experienced in high-boost applications. The result is improved belt grip, increased reliability, and more consistent boost under demanding conditions.

Designed to retain the factory A/C system and utilize the OEM spring-loaded belt tensioner and factory alternator pulley, this kit delivers OE-like reliability while greatly improving belt performance for racing and high-performance street applications.

Important Notes

Supercharger belt is not included.
Fits factory FL-500 oil filters. Currently not compatible with FL-820 oil filters.
Gen 2, Gen 3, and Gen 4 Whipple 2.9L supercharger systems require a new tensioner plate for proper belt clearance.
Not compatible with applications where the engine has been lowered (such as GT350 setups) due to sway bar clearance.
Primarily tested with Whipple Supercharger systems. Compatibility with other supercharger brands has not been verified.
